Throwing Taster Class

In a group of up to 6 people for a two and half hour class, suitable for absolute beginners.

In this fun two and a half hour introductory taster session you will get familiar with the clay and learn what its like to have a go on the potters wheel. We will teach you how to prepare the clay, centre and throw a cylinder and or a bowl. There is a maximum of 6 people per class, with each individual having their own dedicated potters wheel.

You may keep up to three pieces to be fired and glazed by a studio technician and collected at a later date (pots are usually ready after 3 weeks although this may vary due to firing schedules.) We will notify you via the email provided when booking when your pots are ready for collection. This single session is for one person, in a group of up to 6 people. Clay, glaze and firing costs are all included. Please read the Terms and Conditions in the Classes drop down menu, you will be asked to agree when you make your booking.

A reminder email with confirmation of your date and time and additional information regarding your class will be sent out a couple of days before your class. This email will be sent to the email provided at booking.
