Shapes are either curved with gentle and subtle lines and elegant height, or generously round and curvaceous inviting the viewer to pick up, feel and use.
Decoration inspiration comes from nature, landscapes, plants and wildlife. Earth, sea, sky colour and contours.
Inspiration is also taken from printed textiles, French designs by Bracquenie, Indonesian batiks using resist techniques. Japanese potters brushwork and the Mingei Folk craftwork designs. Chinese blue designs on porcelain.

Glaze colours are as natural as the materials they come from; iron, copper, cobalt from the earth. Lindy tries to get glazes reacting with each other melting and moving over the pots. Decoration is applied in layers with coloured slips, stoneware glazes and bushed on oxides adding to the depth of the finished decorations. All this, within the restraints of an electric kiln and an oxidising atmosphere.
